Welcome to Light Of Jesus Orphanage Ministry
There's much need in Uganda and the orphaned children need help desperately to be cared for. We're struggling greatly to care for 102 children at the orphanage.These are the needs we need to take care of these starving children.1. Shelter; we need to buy land and we would like to set up a home for our poorest of the poor children, a church and a garden to feed the children but unfortunately we're passing through a very hard time because we have to pay for the rent feed on a monthly basis and the resources are limited, sometimes the landlady wants to evict us from the buildings due to failure to pay for the rent fee which is long overdue.2. Food! This may include rice, flour, wheat, cooking oil, beans, meat, milk, eggs, sugar, tea bags, salt, bread and bread paste and others. It's a very big challenge because we cannot make it to feed the children on a our #everychild #everyday program, this has brought a decline in the lives of children because now days children can live without a promised meal.3. Clean and safe water; we're sharing water with animals and the wells become dry, this is heartbreaking because children are experiencing water borne illnesses like typhoid and cholera, we would like to get our modern borehole to have access to water.4. Clothing; children are putting on rugs and they need to be treated like other children in this world but even old clothes can help these children.5; Beddings, which includes bed sheets, blankets, mattresses and this will help children to have a healthy and happy lives because they're now sleeping in the group but we would like to individually provide a very child with a bed.6. Sanitation materials, sanitary pads for girls and this will help the girls during menstration cycle, in that during the menstration cycle, in case they won't have to use small clothes to stop the periods to pass through their clothes and they won't stop going to school until when their monthly cycle is done, toilet treatments, these helps the toilets from smelling to bad for the children and also the people around the area. Vassiline for the children to apply on their bodies so that they don't look too dry, medicine like paracetamol, fever tablets, flue tablets, and any other kind of medication.Help give a full life to the next generation of leaders.Become a partner with LIGHT OF JESUS ORPHANAGE MINISTRY and join a big family of monthly givers who are doing what they can every day.
